Couchella at Habitat

Well, the sun has begun to shine, the wild flowers are in bloom and pub gardens are slowly starting to fill up. This can only mean one thing- festival season will soon be upon us!

I won’t lie- I’ve never actually been to  festival. I know it makes me sound like a spoiled little princess but I just hate camping. The whole idea of being DAMP all the time…nah, that is not for this hun.

Luckily, last week home store haven Habitat had me covered when I went along to their wholly indoor festival, COUCHELLA!

The clever folk behind all the gorgeous homeware and furniture that I routinely lust over online had transformed their Tottenham Court Road Store into a festival themed wonderland celebrating all things COUCH. A festival you don’t even have to get up off the sofa for? WIN.

I met up with a few of my blogger bangarang babes, and we made our way round the store, having a little boogie to the live DJs, and settling down for plenty of selfies at each specially themed Couch stop.

These Couch Stops had been transformed into unique little sets reflecting a different style of music, each one with a dedicated playlist to match.

We found our calling at the Hendricks couch and even had time to pose for the photobooth.

Alongside these, with sweet cocktails and cold fizz, we cooed and callayed over all the beautiful summer collection, in a myriad of colours.

A quick munch on some delicious canapes (may or may not have snaffled 3 of the ice cream sandwiches) and a call in in at the Bare Minerals beauty station to get some tips for a festival themed make-up look, it was all too soon time to return out of Couchella and back to the urban grit of Tottenham Court Road.

I may not be a huge fan of festivals, but hey, if they were all like Couchella? I’d say couchHELLA YES.

I was a guest of Habitat, all opinions my own!
